MomSaysSo - an experimental web site using Rapid Weaver

So, anyway, I’ve been following Guy Kawasaki’s twitters for a while and reveling in the fact that he follows mine. Well, okay, he follows anyone and everyone who follows him and it all goes into an aggregator. But I can dream.

Anyway, he twitted (twittered?) “More good cheapness: http://tinyurl.com/6xqakk” and naturally I bit, being kinda cheap...er, frugal...myself and found a blog about how someone built an iPhone app for $4873.92. But what got my attention were all the great tools and resources they used, including RapidWeaver to build their web site. Wow, they were singing my song: “Awesome web design is expensive (or, as they say, priceless) ... I didn’t want to be going back to a freelancer every five minutes with little changes, so I decided to handle it myself.”

I mean, that’s how I got into doing web sites in the first place. Well, that and the fact that the average shelf life of a web designer is about 18 months, then they implode. Icky.

So, this is a web site created on a Mac with Rapid Weaver. I’ll be futzing around with it now and then because I don’t spend enough time on a computer. ;-D
